Video Projection (2018-present)

Since 2015, I’ve been experimenting with projecting video outdoors, on buildings, walls and windows. I’m interested in sneaking new messages and images into our built environment and landscape, hoping to spur curiosity and resurface the stories, faces and ideas that often get buried behind the walls.

In 2018, we repurposed the Hot Tea tricycle into a mobile projector bike with built in speakers, solar charged battery and LED lights. The projector bike has done pop up screenings, guerrilla projections and experimental installations. We are always open to new ideas and collaborations!

In 2020, I collaborated with Cleanse, directed by Michelle Ortiz. Images were projected at the 9th Street Market to visually CLEANSE the former site of the Frank Rizzo mural one month after its removal. Our aim is to push for new collective histories and continue fighting for anti-racism in our city. The projection featured works by Ricardo Rivera, Laura Deutch, Michelle Angela Ortiz, Ursula Rucker, Naomieh Jovin, and Kevin Nguyen.
