Lightshade I created today to jazz up these boring shades, and recycle some of my 16mm film from those formative film projects… I didn’t have the heart to throw out the film or the shades, so now I can enjoy both of them together. This was just the test, I look forward to experimenting with new designs!

Entrepreneur: One who undertakes an endeavor

Today was the first of a 6 part Entrepreneurship Training class led by Angel Rodrigeuz from the Empowerment Group, sponsored by the Corzo Center for the Creative Economy. This is a serious class. I think for the first time I will finally complete those time/money tracking sheets. State some clear 3mon/6mon/1 year goals and make a strategic plan to get there.

I am energized to focus on the creation of a South Philly multidisciplinary center for creative coworking, art and education. We have a motivated small core group that seems to be growing each week with a little outreach effort. Although this vision/dream was not something I imagined short of 5 years from now… why not? I think the timing is right for this idea, in this neighborhood… and if we don’t focus and make it happen, someone else will.
